Have you registered for Mile High United Way’s 35th Annual Turkey Trot? Now is the time! The 4-mile race on Thanksgiving morning through Washington Park will not only build your appetite for the BIG Thanksgiving meal, but will also make a significant difference in our community.
This year, more than ever, your participation in Turkey Trot it crucial. Before the economy started to slump, there were thousands of our own residents trapped in a cycle of struggle, poverty and homelessness. Times are even tougher now for those in need. This Holiday season, your entry fee for Turkey Trot ($40 before Thanksgiving) will help Mile High United Way change thousands of lives through three life-changing initiatives: School Readiness, Youth Success and Adult Self Sufficiency.

In celebration of fitness, children from all eight branches of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver participated in a “Fun Walk” at INVESCO Field at Mile High Tuesday, October 14th, as part of the NFL Hometown Huddle program, an annual partnership between the Denver Broncos and Mile High United Way.
Mile High United Way partners with the Boys & Girls Clubs under its Youth Success Initiative, which provides after-school activities and other programs geared toward helping youth graduate from high school.
