In 2006, Mile High United Way launched an ambitious Five-Year Plan to raise $250 million and create long-term solutions for people in the five-county metro Denver region.  The campaign focuses on three life-changing initiatives: School Readiness, Youth Success and Adult Self Sufficiency.

Now, at the end of Year Two, Mile High United Way successfully raised $78 million.
 
We’ve focused the collective strength of more than 50,000 donors, 800 local businesses and 100 non-profit partners to deliver lasting solutions for individuals and families in metro Denver.  Together we continue to do what none of us can do alone.

Last night at Mile High United Way’s annual Celebration, awards were presented to nine companies in metro Denver that have made outstanding contributions through philanthropy, volunteerism, workplace giving and their overall partnership to strengthen our community.
